At the heart of the famous Three Valleys, these are probably the best resorts in the world for clocking up the kilometres and enjoying a change of scenery on every run. Meribel is for party animals and Mottaret for those who value convenience, as you'll never be further than 100 metres from clicking in or strapping on. 5km apart the two are easily connected by the excellent lift system by day and by free bus service at night.

On the mountain
This valley alone covers around 100km with some of the prettiest views and plenty of chairlifts that face the sun! Beginners can enjoy the Altiport area but overall are better served in Mottaret. Intermediates and experts can choose from motorway cruising, bumps, powder, vertical drops, snow parks or even mountain hostelries, it is unusual not to be impressed. In the main, the speed and efficiency of the lift system is second to none and draglifts are optional.

On the town
Live music features heavily in the main resort of Méribel and some of the best parties start in the Rond Point around 4pm until dinnertime! Later on the revelry continues in the many bars, including the famous Dick's. There are many happy hours, leaving few excuses to abscond early! The food lovers are well catered for too, from fast food joints to Michelin starred restaurants. The nightlife of Meribel Mottaret is less frenetic with the focus on socialising in several bars and restaurants.
